I used to live in Botswana and I realized that I m forgetting Setswana It s nice to have a compact dictionary to refresh my memory I keep in touch with people in Botswana and this will come in handy I was a little disappointed to see that this dictionary only gives 5 words for grassthere are at least 20 words for grass There are different types of grassgreen grass, brown grass, burnt grass, grass used for a roof, etc.But I realize this is a compact dictionary and it can t contain too much detail.

Although fairly small, I found this both useful and surprisingly thorough during a recent safari in Botswana It certainly facilitates going past the limited phrases found in tourist books With this and some information on the Setswana language and its grammar, one can make some preliminary steps in actually learning and appreciating the language of this magnificent country.
