A very well researched book about a race with as much history of heroism, treachery, elation and despair as the better documented Tour de France.

I love the way Bill and Carol write these books. They are well researched and well written in a nice style. It s been a long time coming a book this good on the Giro d Italia and I wasn t disappointed. They wrote 2 cracking books on the Tour and hopefully won t be long before part two of the Giro is out.I for one will be in the que for that one.My only gripe is same as others I just wish they had been hard backed, never the less they are proudly on display on my book shelf, and will read again and again.
